Established in 1910, the New Imperial initially only offered a few models, 293cc side valve single and 8 hp twins, with JAP engines. This company acquired the reputation and image for being middle of the road machines – offering good value for money machines. The company was based in Hall Green, Birmingham. In the early 1920s the company became more active in racing and more models were introduced. New imperial carried on using JAP engines until 1926 and after that they built their own engines. Sadly the company went out of business in 1939.
